Riana grew up in the picturesque western district town of Dunkeld, at the foothills of the Grampians. Studying at Melbourne University and completing her BVSC with first class honours in 2001. Being a country girl, she sought out employment in the country and settled in Shepparton in 2002. Riana also has an interest in soft tissue surgery and business management. She has also obtained her AQIS and small animal export accreditation allowing her to give advice and perform tests and vaccinations required for export of pets’ overseas. Out of hours Riana enjoys camping with family and friends, visiting Dunkeld and getting her fix of the mountains, horse riding and amateur photography.

Esma graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1990. In 1998, Esma also completed a Masters Degree in Small Animal Medicine from Murdoch University. Esma is a local, born and raised in Shepparton. She attended Shepparton High School and has worked in the Shepparton area most of her life. Esma loves her job and the fact that no day is ever the same, she enjoys doing small animal consults and surgeries. Outside of work, Esma cares for her family, plays tennis and enjoys gardening. Esma Joined the team at Shepparton Vet Clinic in 2015 and works across both the Shepparton and Kialla clinics.
Dr. Tanika

Small & Large Animal Vet
Growing up in Colac, Tanika was alway surrounded by animals and pets. She enjoys the country life, and has spent time living in Melbourne, and Bendigo before moving to the Goulburn Valley. She has a horse Ollie, a dog Tully and a cat Nova.
In her spare time, she enjoys camping, cooking netball and the beach.

Dr. Madeleine

Exotic and Bird medicine Special Interest
Growing up in Adelaide, Madeliene moved to Melbourne when she was still quite young. With her love and facination of all things exotic, such as rabbits, rats, reptiles and ferrets, Dr Madeleine is considered our Pocket Pet vet ! She has even treated wombats.
She enjoyes kayaking and bushwalking and especially wildlife watching ! Madeleine has 2 friendly budgies and a cute little Westie Cross dog.

Jess has always been passionate about Animal Science, and became a Veterinary Nurse and loved it so much, she decided to continue studying and become a Vet. She grew up in Western Australia and made the big move to Victoria this year. More to come about our new vet Jess

Katie
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Having grown up in Alice Springs and Brisbane, Katie has worked in small and large animal clinics whilst travelling throughout Australia. She has been nursing for over 15 years, and owned and operated a Vet Clinic in Siem Reap, Cambodia for 8 years. She ran a non profit animal welfare organisation and was a co-ordinator for World Vets on various trips to Asia.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with Dora, a lovely greyhound who has well and truly earned her retirement. She also enjoys swimming, reading and travelling.
Rachel
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Rachel is a valued member of the Shepp Vets team, and has been for some time now and mainly works from our Kialla Clinic.
She enjoys spending her spare time with her family and her pets.
Sascha
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Sascha joined us in August 2018, and quickly fitted iin, it was hard to believe she hasnt been here for years ! She is a valued member of the Shepp Vets team and mainly works from our Shepparton Clinic.
She enjoys spending her spare time with her big puppy, Bear.
Tameka

Tameka grew up in the Benalla and Shepparton area . When she is home, she enjoys spending time with her family, a horse, a pony, three chickens, three cats, three dogs, a abbit, a turtle and a bird ! She loves coming to work being around animals.
In her spare time, Tameka enjoys horse riding and spending time with her family.
Michelle
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Michelle has been a valued member of the Shepp Vets team for a number of years now and mainly works from our Kialla Clinic.
She grew up in Shepparton and went to study in Melbourne for a year before moving back to the area. She now lives on an acreage in Tallygaroopna where she enjoys spending time with an assortment of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, sheep birds and reptiles.
Michelle has been vet nursing for 12 years and still enjoys it as much today as when she first started.
She says everyday is different and there are always new things to learn. I have a special interest in patient care and enjoy trying to make the pets experience in hospital as fear free as possible.

Ashley grew up in Geelong, and has only recently given up the coast to move to the Goulburn Valley. Ashley is a passionate animal lover,m and has been doing volunteer work at the Wildlife Shelter.
She loves camping, prospecting, swimming and reading ! Her pets are Snoopy a labrador, a Kelpie, Bossy and three chickens plus lots of cokatiels.

Liz is our most recent Nurse, recently relocating from Melbourne with plenty of experience in very busy clinics. She mainly works from our Shepparton Clinic.
She enjoys spending her spare time with her family and her pets.
Rhiannon

Rhiannon loves coming to work and being around all animals. She is a currently studying to be a Vet Nurse, and is part of our Reception team. She is a regular foster mum to kittens bought in to the council.
She has a large collection of animals at home, which include Cooper and Chase who are Jack Ruseell Terriers, the cats Rory, Ragnar and Jasper. Buddy the Goat, Tambo the horse and a handful of chickens !

Katrina

Born in the Western District, Katrina relocated to Melbourne then moved to Shepparton in the mid 1980’s. She is an experienced Manager, having had nearly 23 years experience in the Insurance industry, and recently joined the teamas the Practice Manager in late 2017. Katrina has a love of pugs, being owned by two, and in her spare time, enjoys golf and fishing. She is also a civil celebrant.
Mandy

Mandy has been part of the team at Shepparton Vet Clinic for nearly 10 years. She finds the most enjoyable part of her job is that she can get to know the clients and their animals. Mandy finds it a privilege to be able to support the clients from the arrival of a new puppy through to the farewell of a faithful companion.
Mandy owns “Denny” a Quarter Horse who is cheeky, smart and a lot of fun, also “Teddy” a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is a very good boy and “Poppy” a Cavoodle( poodle x cavalier) who is funny, cute and a bit spoilt! In her leisure time Mandy enjoys horse riding, gardening and church activities.
Tracey
“10 years plus with our team”
Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing, Certificate III Animal Technology
Tracey grew up in Numurkah on a large sheep farm. She always had a keen interest in animals and always knew that she wanted to pursue a career with them. In 1999 Tracey joined Shepparton Vet Clinic on a work placement to start her Animal Technology and Veterinary Nurse certificates. The following year Tracey was granted a Victorian Institute of sport scholarship for netball and moved to Melbourne to take this up. During that time she also continued her work in another vet clinic in Melbourne whilst continuing her studies. In 2006 Tracey moved back to the local area marrying a local Nathalia boy. Tracey re-joined Shepparton Vet Clinic in 2008 and has been here as a receptionist ever since. She loves cats, especially her baby “Lilly” and she also has two crazy dogs “Oscar” and “Bundy “. Tracey loves being part of the team, working in such a great environment.

Wayne

Wayne was born and grew up in Shepparton. After completing his accounting studies he worked for 26 years in the banking and finance industry with roles including managing accounting centres & systems administrator for some of the banks specialist products. This meant being stationed in Shepparton, Ballarat, Perth and finally in Melbourne’s head office. Wayne has been part of the vet clinic for the past 5 years.
Bianca
Bianca is a local girl born and raised in Shepparton and became a part of the team at the clinic in 2014. Bianca enjoys her job, chatting to clients and meeting their furbabies. In her spare time Bianca enjoys spending time with her family, friends and pets, camping, swimming, & going to the beach. Bianca has a Spoodle Ruby who loves walks, chasing ball and swimming in the pool, 4 chooks and a very noisy cockatiel named Max. Favourite Animals: Orang-utan, Dolphins and Dogs.
Jodie
Certificate III in Business studies
Jodie has always been drawn to working with animals, and enjoys being part of the Recpetion team. She has been mainly raising children for the past 10 years, but in her spare time, she enjoys horse riding and camp drafting with her daughter.
Jodie has a a passion for Chihuahua’s – she is owned by Daisy and Charlotte. She also shares her home with a border collie Marley, Buddy the Kelpie, Prizzie the cat and Charlie her quarter horse.
